Be sure to backup your shortcuts for Office 97 before installing Office 2000, or you will have to recreate each one. To back them up goto Start - Settings – Taskbar & Start Menu, Start Menu Programs TAB, Advanced. Highlight the Programs folder on the left, create a new folder, and move any Office shortcuts into the new folder.
